While Mama Had a Quick Little Chat by Amy Reichert

While Mama Had a Quick Little Chat by Amy Reichert

I recommend this children's book all the time. It is a cute little story about a little girl named Rose and the adventures she has as her mom is on the phone and she is supposed to be getting ready for bed.

The illustrations are beautiful and my boys love to look at them over and over again!

Front of the Class: How Tourette Syndrome Made Me The Teacher I Never Had by Brad Cohen

I saw the movie on the Hallmark Channel and liked it so much I got the book.  It's an inspiring story about a boy with Tourette syndrome who turned it into an asset and his life into an inspiration.

He is a motivational speaker, teacher and author and the recipient of Georgia's First Class Teacher of the Year award.
I've given it as gifts and watch it every time it comes on TV.  I highly recommend the book and the movie.  I know it's available on line at Barnes & Noble in paperback and Nook Book and hopefully it's at the library.
